Here’s a great article referencing Hint from TheStreet.com. The piece also addresses New York’s Returnable Container Act of 1982, which was recently expanded to require a five-cent deposit on bottled water, in addition to the carbonated soft drinks already included in the bill. The expansion, which went into effect at the end of October, also includes a measure allowing the state to keep 80% of unclaimed deposits.
Check out the article! Cheers!

This mention from Access Hollywood is further proof that HINT is the perfect way to hydrate during these hot summer days. A great review! Cheers!
“Hydrate! Hydrate! Hydrate! Your body is close to 70% water, so stay away from dehydrating beverages and foods such as alcohol, coffee and sugar. Choose herbal teas, raw fruits and vegetables and of course, water.” Paula says Miley Cyrus and Blake Lively are reaching for Hint water, a no calorie flavored water. www.drinkhint.com

Please read this insightful article from The Salt Lake Tribune about the team behind the success of HINT, Kara and Theo Goldin. The highlights are below. Cheers!
When did you decide to hire your husband, Theo, and why?
Right away. We both had our share of the corporate world: Theo as a legal executive at Netscape and me as an AOL executive. When I was still working at AOL, I realized that simple, all-natural foods were popping up in stores, but in the beverage aisle there was no good alternative to the juice and soda my family was drinking. When I launched HINT Water in 2005, I needed my husband’s know-how. He brings operational and legal expertise to the day-to-day business management of HINT.
What are the advantages of hiring a spouse?
The advantages definitely outweigh the disadvantages. We know so much about each other and how each other works that it makes internal processes for the company that much easier. Our personalities that brought us together in the first place have made us tremendous business partners. We have common goals for the company and our family so we rarely disagree on the direction of HINT. One of the disadvantages is that we don’t get to spend as much time together with our four children as we would like because we are constantly working together.
How are disagreements handled, and who has the final say?
As CEO, I have the final say. However, I do refer to my husband for his input and advice on most decisions. When disagreements arise, it is important to both of us that we listen to each other’s sides of the argument and decide which is best. We also have an incredible staff that we refer to if we need additional input.
Describe ways couples can best juggle their home and business relationships.
We have learned it is best to leave work out of our home as much as possible. We like to pick a time at night when there is no mention of work. We keep an open flow of communication. If I don’t like how Theo handles something, I have no problem telling him. If you hold onto your thoughts and emotions, they will just build up and become bigger issues down the line.

Here’s a fun review from Lift Magazine:
Once upon a time, you wouldn’t be caught dead without a soda in hand. Thankfully, since then, you’ve grown up. The problem though is you can’t stand to have plain water all the time and most flavored water is full of chemicals and/or sugar.
Solution: Drink HINT water. This line of purified water has just a hint (hence the name) of a wide variety of natural flavors – and they’re tasty! Did I mention, there are no sweeteners, no preservatives (absolutely nothing artificial) and no calories (nada, zip, zero)? That’s my kind of water!

I meant to call this cool blurb to people’s attention: The Washington Post has a great review of HINT, praising the Cucumber and Pear flavors, respectively, while also highlighting the brand’s “clear, bright all-natural taste in well-designed bottles.” As I’ve written previously, good design and superb taste are an increasing rarity. It’s good to know HINT is one of the few products that upholds these standards. Cheers!

They’re all delicious, especially the new Blackberry flavor. Cheers!

Here’s an excellent article from BusinessWeek about Kara and Theo Goldin, the inspirational forces behind HINT. I encourage people to read the article because, aside from the piece’s comprehensive reporting, it offers superb background about the success (rightfully earned, I should add) that Kara and Theo continue to enjoy and strengthen. Their vision for powerful branding and quality merchandise is at the heart of HINT’s popularity and ongoing credibility among consumers nationwide. I salute their work. Cheers
