Hence the importance of this story from Reuters about how adults living with children tend to eat more fat than grown-ups in kid-free homes, consuming as much additional saturated fat each week as found in an individual-size pizza, a new study suggests. It may not exactly be the kids’ fault, but household cupboards are more likely to be stocked with high-fat convenience foods like cookies, cheese, peanuts and processed meats when children are around, the researchers said. One of the easiest ways to change these bad habits is to avoid sugary drinks, especially sodas. Translation: drink more water!!

Folks, meet Sheryl: our newest HINT HERO. She is a native born and bred California girl, 42 years young, and looking forward to the next 42 immensely. She works in commercial real estate and has a lot of fun and stress (the latter is no fun). She is trying to eat healthier lately and cut out sugar, which is the second reason she loves HINT, the first being it is the best tasting water on the market.
